SPORTS MASTERS OF OUR HOMELAND
34 On December 15, 2025, an awards ceremony was held at the Basha-Basha Sports Complex in the Olympic Village in the capital, with the participation of the Honorary President. It honored young people who won prizes at international competitions and sporting events, as well as their mentors and coaches. It was particularly proud that among the young people whose names were mentioned on the high podium, among the masters of sport who raised the Turkmen flag, were students of our Turkmen State Financial Institute. The presence of our institute's students' names on the golden pages of our country's development history symbolizes the personal contribution of our students to strengthening our country's economic strength.
According to the document signed by the Honorable President, athletes and their coaches who won gold, silver and bronze medals at international competitions in various sports were awarded cash prizes of 40,000 and 70,000 manats, respectively, as well as white Toyota Camry HEV 2.5L car manufactured in 2025.
The inspiring song “Forward, Forward, Only Forward, My Dear Homeland Turkmenistan!”, with lyrics and music by the National Leader, provided a unique conclusion to the ceremony. The happy young people, honored with gifts, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and our Arkadagly Hero Serdar for providing them with ample opportunities to demonstrate their abilities in all fields.

— Sometimes a person's destiny may not depend on their dreams of happiness. I am the eldest of four children, born to a father who said many years ago, "If I had a son, I would train him myself." I was a small child when I began training sambo with my father. At that time, all I could think about was fulfilling my father's dreams and reaching a certain level in the sport.
But I never dreamed that one day I would participate in international competitions, win medal after medal, and become the owner of valuable prizes. And today, for my success in international competitions, I became the owner of a valuable prize – a car.
I grew up in the village of Garadamak, on the outskirts of Ashgabat. We trained at home. I also attended a sports school and began training with experienced coaches. The joy of that day when I successfully competed in the national championship organized by the National Martial Arts Federation of Turkmenistan and was accepted to the national team still warms my heart.
Since then, I've won medals at almost every national and international competition. My father used to say, "An athlete must first conquer himself." I followed that principle, too. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have received valuable gifts from the esteemed President and to have made my parents and coaches happy.

According to the document signed by the esteemed President, I was awarded a cash prize of 40,000 (forty thousand) manats. This was an unforgettable event not only for me but for our entire family.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to our esteemed President, Hero Arkadag, who tirelessly works for a bright future for our youth. May Arkadagly, Hero Serdar, and the National Leader be healthy and may their public service be filled with success.
